I don’t think we should ever take satisfaction from killing somebody. It’s a natural human reaction, but I think it’s harmful in the long run. When the time comes that it’s necessary to kill somebody, even a murderer of children, it should be done quickly and quietly and with a minimum of fuss. Turning an execution into a blog party doesn’t undo the crime, and it just makes the participants a little bit less humane.
