It’s Thursday night. Tomorrow’s the Friday before Memorial Day. I have no responsibilities until next Tuesday. It’s a long weekend, baby.
I told somebody about this a few minutes ago. “Party at your place,” she says. I had to explain that my idea of a party is spending twelve hours a day in front of a word processor. She laughed at me. I think she’s going to put together a care package consisting of booze, Led Zeppelin records and weed.
Today wasn’t a good writing day. I had work, and then I got hit with the I-have-to-take-a-nap stick. I never take naps. But I dozed on the couch for about an hour. I’m definitely hitting the sack early tonight and getting a decent night’s sleep. Definitely.
I also think I need to bite the bullet and buy more text messages for my phone. I just have the standard iPhone plan, the one with the 200 messages on it. Which was fine back in the day when I had a phone that was so useless for sending text messages that I’d sooner carve my words into my back with my fingernails and mail myself to whomever I wanted to communicate with. Stupid iPhone making it so easy and convenient to use text messages.
Trouble is, the AT&T Web site is baffling when it comes to adding services. I think for, like, an extra $10 a month or whatever I can get unlimited texts. Or something like that. But I can’t figure out how to make that happen. Anybody got a hint for me? Note: If the hint involves “call customer service,” we are no longer friends, and I will be by in a few minutes to salt the ground on which you live.
Oops
Did I say “Memorial Day?” Don’t blog sleepy. Never blog sleepy.

Labor Day, not Memorial Day :)
And once you sign into your account on the website, there should be an option for you to add/remove services. It’s been awhile since I had Cingular (the new AT&T! …gag me), but that’s how it used to be anyways.
