That show about the pie man and his dead girlfriend

On the crappiest day I’ve had in a long, long time — all summer, easily — I got to sit down tonight and watch forty-two-odd minutes of pure, distilled joy.

Are you guys watching “Pushing Daisies?” Cause you should be. Really.

  1. Oh I totally agree. It’s one of the best shows on this season!

  2. It’s entirely made out of sugar & fruit & flour, maybe a little egg, and I love it!

  3. I’m with you on this one. I think it’s my favorite new show this season. Pure whimsy. It’s created by the same guy who did “Dead Like Me” which had the same flavor (no pun intended) but without the cartoon-colored sets. It was a great show, especially if you’re a fan of Mandy Patinkin like I am. If you haven’t seen it, you should rent the DVDs. The main character is killed by a toilet seat from the international space station breaking apart as it hit the atmosphere. That creator’s a comic genius. I wish I could remember his name :(.

  4. Bryan Fuller is the creator of this series, “Dead Like Me,” and “Wonderfalls.” He yet another Star Trek: The Next Generation writer who has spread his wings. If I’m not mistaken, he’s dropped the number 47 into his scripts a few times. It’s a Trek writer thing.

  5. We’ve got the first season “Dead Like Me” DVDs if you want to borrow them.

And I started watching “Pushing Daisies” based about 5% on the promo ads, and about 95% on your glowing endorsement. I have not been disappointed.

  6. Yep,
My favorite new show of the season.
“Life” is pretty good as well.
I’m not impressed with the new season of Heros.
    Weren’t all those people dead?
