Have you bought my book yet?

I won’t be a pest about this. Really. But I was just wondering … have you bought my book yet? It’s really a pretty good book. Entertaining, thought-provoking. A real value-for-money type deal.

The first printing sold out over the weekend — a printing so limited as to be considered non-existent. Seriously, if you look at the number of books in the first printing and compare it to the number of books in the first printing of a typical work of fiction, the figure actually rounds down to zero. In a very real sense, zero books were included in the first printing.

But anyway, that microscopically small first printing sold out, so there’s a second printing now. If you were lucky enough to buy early, you’ll soon be the owner of a real collector’s item, as I understand the first printing had an amusing typesetting error in it that’s since been corrected. I guess it’s a good thing that first run was so small.

Anyway, I was just wondering, it being a Monday morning and everything, whether you’ve bought my book yet. Because you really should, you know?

Don’t worry. I’m not going to transform this site into all-advertising-all-the-time. Regular blogging will recommence later today. I just thought I’d mention it.

Because you really should buy a copy. Or ten.

  1. How long will the book be for sale? I intend to do my best to get hardcover and paperback, but I just need some time to scrounge up money.

  2. Forever, I suppose. I can’t really imagine a reason why I’d pull it off the market.
